Trip Introduction

Dhaulagiri trek is great destination for adventure seekers which grading on Adventurous to challenging. Mt. Dhaulagiri was climbed first in 1960 by an international team of Max Eiselin Lucerne and his team. It is located in the western part of Nepal. This Mountain is one of the highest mountains among the 14th highest mountain in the world, which height is (8167m/26.788ft).

This trek start from Beni and after crossing the pass ends at Kaligandaki valley. This is one of the difficult treks listed in Nepal. The route follows the Myagdi Khola west-wards to Darbang, then turns north through lowland forests into the high country. High above much of the route on snow and glaciers as it crosses French Col pass (5240m). Then we round from the head of Hidden Valley, and crosses Dhampus Pass (5155m). On this trek you'll have great chance to encounters with high passes and great views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges.

    • Day 03: Fly to Pokhara and drive to Beni
    • Day 04: Trek to Babi Chaur, 5-6 hr walk
    • Day 05: Trek to Dharapani, 5-6 hr walk
    • Day 06: Trek to Muri, 5-6 hr walk
    • Day 07: Trek to Bagar, 5-6 hr walk
    • Day 08: Trek to Dobang, 5-6 hrs walk
    • Day 09: Trek to Italian Base Camp, 6-7 hr walk
    • Day 10: Acclimatization day (3,660m/12,005ft)
    • Day 11: Italian base camp to Dhaulagiri base camp (4,750m/15,580ft), 6-7 hr walk
    • Day 12: Trek to French Col (5,360m/17,581ft), 5-6 hr walk
    • Day 13: Acclimatization at camp (5,050m/16564ft)
    • Day 14: Trek to Dhampus Pass to Yak Kharka, 6-7 hr walk
    • Day 15: Trek to Tukuche, 5 hrs walk
    • Day 16: Trek to Ghasa, 4-5 hrs walk
    • Day 17: Trek to Tatopani (1,200m/3937ft), 4-5 hrs walk
