Trip Introduction
Siklesh trekking is short and most popular trekking destination in Annapurna trekking trail. Sikles probably the second largest Gurung village in Nepal is located to the north-east of pokhara at about 2000m. Elevation and is well known for its well preserved Gurung culture. The major attraction of this village is traditional Gurung lifestyle, handicraft production, local cloth weaving tradition and the ancient water-driven flourmills. The flower forest of rhododendron is also one of the highlight of this region.since, the village lies in the shadow of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal; one can observe the panoramic view of these two peaks. This place is also famous as a point from where one can observe avalanches thundering down of the mountain sides. This is one of the areas where only a few tourists can be seen. Farther continues the trek to Ghale Gaun. It is a very popular for doing the home stay trek.
Taking advantage of such a unique location, Ghalegaun- a picturesque hamlet of about 106 Gurung style houses, has recently been marketed as a new destination to experience Village tourism. Accordingly quite a number of houses have been prepared for domestic and international visitors with comfortable basic amenities.
Besides the scenic extravaganza of the peaks, the warm and sincere hospitality of the Gurung people is also bound to overwhelm the visitors. Here food items such as grain, vegetable, meat, milk, eggs, are all locally produced and are indeed for any chemical fertilizers. In addition, the life-style of the village truly reflects an exotic living ethnic tradition handed down since ages.

Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu
Namaste & welcome to Himalayan Planet of Nepal. While you landed at the Tribhuvan intl. airport Himalayan Planet Adventures representative welcomes you with your name and assists to transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu. After time to get refreshed, bring you at head office and briefing about the program and evening we’ll pick up you for welcome dinner in one of the typical Nepalese restaurant with cultural program in the heart of Kathmandu and overnight at Hotel.
