Trip Introduction

Langtang trek is one of the best treks to visit with calm and scenic mountains as well as pilgrimage holy lake and Helambu region is a best part for scenery apple garden and Sherpa lifestyle. This 17 day trek takes the road less traveled to the Langtang-Gosainkunda region of Tamang valleys close to the Tibetan border. The route offers the opportunity to explore traditional villages, climb small peaks and visit stunning glaciers at comfortable elevations.

During your trek you'll visit holy Gosainkunda Lake of Hindu legend and cross the Lauribina La, a high mountain pass with stunning views into Tibet. You'll meet Hindu pilgrims and holy men and explore 400 year old Gompa. As you journey through bamboo forests you'll glimpse Langur monkeys and Red Pandas and travel past pretty villages and terraced fields, snow capped peaks and glaciers as you follow quiet wilderness trails and enjoy stunning panoramas of Ganesh Himal, the Annapurna region on this excellent Himalayan trek.

Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft)

While you landed at the Tribhuvan intl. airport Himalayan Planet Adventures representative welcomes you with your name and assists to transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu. After time to get refreshed, bring you at head office and briefing about the program and evening we’ll pick up you for welcome dinner in one of the typical Nepalese restaurant with cultural program in the heart of Kathmandu and overnight at Hotel.
